Message What they mean by loosing top end, is simply top speed like guapo said. The car will feel even more amazing on the freeway. 180 is a pretty deadly speed on most tires and roads anyways.

Main dwonfall is a need to shift sooner, and higher rpm freeway speed means more gas consumption.
